ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is inviting all members to submit information on governmental meetings taking place in 2026.

Governmental meetings are an important and growing segment of the global business events industry. They bring together policymakers, government agencies, intergovernmental organisations and public-sector stakeholders to address critical issues, develop policy, strengthen international cooperation and support socio-economic development.

By contributing your data, you will help ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ build a more comprehensive picture of the global meetings landscape and generate valuable insights into this distinct sector.

Governmental meetings operate under different structures, objectives and decision-making processes from association meetings. A dedicated approach allows ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ to better reflect their unique characteristics, scale and contribution to destinations and the wider meetings industry.

Criteria

  • Meetings must be organised by International or Regional Intergovernmental Organisations
  • No minimum attendance required
  • No minimum rotation required

Your contribution will help strengthen the quality and value of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½’s governmental meetings research for the entire global community.

Please get in touch with the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Research Team if you have any questions.
